The Polar Care 500 motorized cold therapy unit utilizes a
unique in-line thermometer and flow valve allowing the PC 500 to provide
accurate temperature control.
BREG’s Polar Care 500 offers the
following features and benefits:
- Easy-to-use temperature control gauge that allows for
flexibility in adjusting the temperature at 45° and above.
- The motor for the Polar Care 500 has an industry-wide
track record for reliability.
- All parts of the Polar Care 500 system can be
individually replaced making it more economical to replace a worn out
part. All parts, including the pad, can be neatly stored inside the
unit without anything protruding, saving space in the stockroom.
- At 11 quarts, the Polar Care 500 has the largest
capacity cooler of any single-patient use, motorized Cold Therapy unit
on the market and can provide 8 - 11 hours of continuous-flow cold
therapy with each ice change.

BREG’s “plug and play” unit, the Polar Care 300, uses
pneumatic power to provide regulated temperature control, while still
maintaining motorized cold therapy for a period of 6 - 8 hours with each ice
change.
BREG’s Polar Care 300 offers the
following benefits:
- Smaller and lighter than the Polar Care 500, which
makes it easier to carry and store, and at the same time it still
provides motorized cold therapy for a period of 6 - 8 hours.
- Its size and weight make the Polar Care 300 an
economic and practical choice.
- An innovative, pneumatic design that automatically
maintains an average operating temperature range between 45° - 55°,
while maintaining a constant pad pressure.
- A manual pump may be used used when electricity or
power supply is unavailable.

Polar Care Cub

BREG’s Polar Care Cub is a cost-effective manual system
perfectly suited for managed care or minor procedures. The Cub offers a
built-in hand pump to circulate the cold water through the Polar Pad, while
at the same time, increasing compression around the joint. The Polar Cub is
designed for ease of use, portability and versatility in applications
ranging from sprains to post-operative procedures.

Gel Wraps
Gel Wraps are Breg's lowest cost cold therapy alternative, consisting of Breg's
original wrap designs with lycra pockets that hold refreezable Gel Packs. The Gel
Packs can also be used when heat application is required.
